To support our IT department we are looking for a Senior Application Manager to act as the linking pin between business process owners and suppliers of IT systems.


As an Application Manager you are responsible for proper functioning of critical parts of the application landscape. The job responsibilities include the following:



  • Responsible for the proper functioning of the application landscape;
  • Responsible to translate business demands into ICT requirements and ICT systems;
  • To incorporate Jumbo safety policy in all daily tasks;

General Tasks

  • Organizes and leads the main user community to ensure proper support to the end-users;
  • Manages external parties;
  • Acts as Project Manager for specific projects;
  • Acts as Product Owner for inhouse software development;
  • Makes sure application documentation remains up to date;
  • Liaises with the ICT Fleet Engineers for ICT systems on board of the vessels;
  • Liaises with the ICT Helpdesk to ensure end-user support;
  • Liaises with business process owners;
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the overall IT application landscape.


  • Bachelor degree ICT, Business Administration or equivalent relevant degree;
  • ICT Project Management training and certificates.


  • Good functional knowledge of ICT systems;
  • Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken;
  • Experience in leading ICT projects;
  • Excellent communication and social skills.
