Jumbo’s QHSE department is responsible for the company management system, for compliance with ISM/ISPS/MLC/ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO45001 and advising on safe working practices for both company as projects. To strengthen the QHSE Department Jumbo seeks a QHSE Engineer (Offshore Projects).

Upon construction phase at the offshore projects the Engineer focusses on the operational QHSE matters such as: temporary project resources at site are available, compliancy of the vessels with the contractual requirements and managing the QHSE of the project (also on site). You will represent the QHSE department in Development and Tender phase.

MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assure standardization of QHSE approach on our projects;
  • Develop and maintain standard Jumbo project tools (documents, methods, strategies, training etc.) to improve our way of working and project efficiency;
  • Improve project QHSE awareness and knowledge within Jumbo;
  • Execution and facilitation of audits, safety surveys, recommendation of (corrective) actions, follow-up, and close-out for offshore projects;
  • Compliance of vessels with project requirements;
  • Identify and encourage QA and HSSE improvement actions;
  • Monitor regulatory changes, organizational changes or changes in company activities, and translate these into advice to DM and PM to assure QHSE compliance and zero incident culture in current and future projects;
  • Manage company HSE risk processes, including incident investigation & follow-up;
  • Coach and advise the team of Engineers / HSE Officers assigned to the specific offshore projects which are located onboard / on-site.

WE
REQUIRE

  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 (Lead auditor in one of these ISO standards preferred);
  • Sound knowledge of maritime legislation (IMO codes and regulations, IMO-SOLAS, ISM, Marpol and ISPS Codes) is an advantage;
  • Project QHSE experience (preferably obtained in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry or Wind industry);
  • Experience of implementing Behavior / Culture Based Safety Management schemes;
  • 2-5 -year experience in a similar position;
  • Good knowledge of the English language (verbally and in writing);
  • Ability to initiate and lead RCA investigations;
  • Ability to provide practical advice and hands-on solutions;
  • Willing to travel fpr project related activities e.g. HAZID facilitation, site visits, onboard / onsite incident investigation.
