The application process consists of two parts: an evaluation of your resume and cover letter and a number of interviews held at our office.
The HR department receives your resume and cover letter after you have uploaded both documents via the application form on www.jumbojobs.nl. The recruiter will then check if there are any relevant job vacancies that match your application (solicited or unsolicited). If there is a match, your application will be evaluated by the hiring manager.
Within two weeks, we will give feedback on your application and let you know whether you will be invited for an interview. You will receive a confirmation with the date, time, location and the names of the persons attending the meeting. Most likely you will be interviewed by the department manager and recruiter, in some cases you will meet a Team Leader or a future direct colleague. Keep in mind that interviews are a two way process. We will ask about your skills and experiences, but interviews are also an opportunity for you to understand if the role and the company are right for you.
At the end of the interview, a date will be agreed upon by when the recruiter will contact you about any following steps. Afterwards the hiring manager and recruiter discuss those following steps too, which could be a second interview. As a candidate, it is also important for you to decide for yourself whether you match the job requirements, the company and its culture.
An (online) assessment can be part of the recruitment process. If all parties are positive about the results, the final interview comprises of a talk about the terms of employment.
When everyone agrees on the content of the position and the terms of employment, as a result of your final interview you will be able to sign your contract with Jumbo!
