Jumbo, Friday Out Of The Box and ETTU nominated for the Computable Awards 2018

Together with ETTU and Friday Out Of The Box, Jumbo has been nominated for the Computable Awards 2018 in the category 'Partner project of the year'.

This nomination is for the project 'HoloLens for Deckmarking', an innovative Mixed Reality and HoloLens application developed for Jumbo.

The Computable Awards are presented for the 13th time this year to companies, projects and individuals who have distinguished themselves in the past year. The award show is on Tuesday 30 October 2018 in the Beatrix Theater in Utrecht.

Ralph Jansen, Application Manager at Jumbo: "By using mixed reality, we take an important step in improving the processes and services we offer to our customers. This is the first time that such a high-tech solution has been developed for this critical step in our process. Finally, what is really cool is to see how our business interests, the technology and the process to get there, come together perfectly and how we achieve very concrete results with our partners."

Piet Vink, Director of ETTU: "As an IT organisation, we focus more and more on digitally transforming business processes. The use of Mixed Reality and the HoloLens at Jumbo is a striking example of this. The Mixed Reality application for Deckmarking was developed in close collaboration with Jumbo and Friday Out Of The Box. This is such an innovative solution that even a patent has been applied for. We are therefore very honoured that we have received the nomination for this innovative project."

Noor Scheltema, Founder and Business Innovator at Friday Out Of The Box: "The Deckmarking project is a fine example of Jumbo's leadership - the courage to make people and budget available - and to innovate in co-creation with top professionals from the profession."

The winners are determined by an independent jury and the readers of Computable. You can vote until 7 October 2018 via
